Not that this is really a stunning discovery. What struck me most about this is the logistics of the research. How were the volunteers compensated? What kinds of people were they? Under what conditions did the study occur? In a warehouse at the edge of town? Was it recorded on film? If so, how were experimental conditions prepared so as to simulate privacy and thereby, presumably, reduce anxiety that might interfere with the results? More importantly, can we see some of the footage?
